2021 Empower Camp walk in the park series
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, Empower Camp evolves too!
Based on the uncertainty on when we’ll “return to normal” along with the evolving risks, rules and regulations with overnight camps, we have decided to not offer our traditional camp for summer 2021....but, in true Empower Camp style we gotta' keep on movin'!
Engaging with young women outdoors, in high energy, interactive activities is at the core of Empower Camp. We remain committed to spreading the Empower Camp message this year and are excited to present a series of outdoor walks that will ignite your inner power in parks throughout WNY!
These outdoor walks, planned on the last Thursday of each month from April to September, will ignite your inner power in parks throughout WNY! Join us for a masked, socially distant, Empower Camp stroll… mosey… a down right promenade!
We will build connections, sing camp songs, engage in some of our favorite activities, and do what we love: SPEND TIME TOGETHER IN PERSON!
The 2021 Walk at the Park Series is our “bridge” from our virtual camp offered in 2020 to the BEST CAMP EVER in 2022! (Psst! Check out our Empower Camp page for a sneak peak to SAVE THE DATE for Empower Camp 2022!)

Participating is easy! Simply, fill out this Registration form one time to attend one or more of the walks.

Details for the Walk in the Park Series:
WHO: Designed for both current and prospective campers (young women, ages 13-18).
COST: This program is available to all young women (ages 13-18) at no charge (a value of $30 per walk!)
REGISTRATION: Complete a one-time registration form, and then join us for one or more walks!
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING WITH YOU: We encourage you to wear comfortable walking clothes, sneakers/trainers and to bring a water bottle.
WALK SCHEDULE: View the walk schedule. All walks are 90 minutes and our last walk on September 30 will begin at 6:00pm. Please arrive at Walk Meeting Points 15 minutes prior to the walk start time!
RAIN OR SHINE? Oh yes, we will be singing in the rain and dancing in the sunshine! We encourage all walkers to check the weather and dress accordingly.
FUN THINGS! Campers will receive a 2021 Empower Camp shirt, while supplies last. We will also have giveaways and themes! Follow us on Instagram (@empcamp) to be in the know!
