Counselor in Training Program

New in 2026 and designed for young women who have aged out (ages 17+) of our program and want to stay involved, the Counselor in Training program is an empowering and uplifting program to equip emerging Empower Camp leaders with the skills, mentorship, and hands-on experiences to become confident, compassionate Camp Counselors.

Applying to be a CIT

Empower Camp is offering the new Counselor in Training program to aged out campers (ages 17+). If you are interested in applying for the program, you can apply by emailing us at info@empcamp.com on why you want to be a CIT this summer along with a copy of your resume. Upon successful acceptance of your application, CITs register for the program through our standard registration process.

CIT Responsibilities

As a CIT, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting counselors with daily activities and camper supervision
Participating in training and skill-building sessions
Supporting a positive, inclusive, and safe camp environment
Modeling respectful behavior and strong communication skills
Daily chores assignments
